Tom Biegeleisen is a web and product developer with over a decade of experience in the online space.

He began his career in 2000 at the social networking start-up Student.com, where he conceptualized, designed, programmed and successfully launched a number of web applications and products to a userbase of over one million. Starting in 2006, as head of product, he continued to work directly with the founder and president on product development, business strategy and myriad technical challenges.

Tom left Student.com in 2007 to found his own development and consulting firm, Biegel Designs. He worked with a number of founders, directors and CEOs on a variety of projects, ranging from expansive customized content management systems to consumer-facing web products to e-commerce solutions. His clients included Universal College Application, Anbex, Foxgloves, GO! Magazine, the Volunteer Management Group, Maya Jewels, Hanky Panky Ltd., the Ward Acting Studio, the Leadership Council on Child Abuse and Domestic Violence and a number of others.

From 2010 through July 2011, Tom worked for truTV, a subsidiary of Turner Broadcasting, in New York City.

Tom is current the Director of User Interface Engineering and User Experience at Unigo, a New York-based start-up in the education space.

Tom graduated from Columbia University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
